The same idea as Semantle, ranked rather than scored: your guess comes back as a position, and you close in.
Absurdle
There is no answer until there has to be — it changes the word to dodge you for as long as it can.

People say "games like Wordle" and mean four different things: the five minutes of deduction, the once-a-day rhythm, the shareable grid, or just something to do with a coffee. A game that nails one of those usually drops another, which is why the list here is grouped by what each one changes rather than ranked one to twenty-five.
Quordle, Octordle and the rest keep every rule you already know and multiply the board. Nothing new to learn, and the skill quietly shifts from knowing words to choosing a first guess that tells you the most across all of them at once.

Sedecordle if you want volume — sixteen boards at once — and Semantle if you want difficulty that is genuinely a different kind. Absurdle is its own answer to the question: there is no fixed word, and it changes what it is thinking of to avoid you for as long as it can.
Because leaving them off would be strange on our own site, and because several of them are genuinely the answer to a group here. They are marked "Ours" every time they appear. Every similar page we looked at before building this puts its own game first and labels it exactly like the competition, which is the thing that makes those lists worth ignoring.
